HERstory 2026
In Honor of Women's History Month

Congratulations! You have been selected as a featured artist/vendor for HERstory 2026, our upcoming festival in honor of women's history month. THIS is our longest running show to date :') originally established in 2018, just a few weeks after Bretty left us in the physical. This year will be even more special. We're so excited to have you!<3
 

HERstory: in honor of Women's History Month, a vibrant and diverse annual celebration of women’s historical and modern day contributions to art, culture, and society. Every March, we engage the public in a dynamic array of conversations showcasing art, culture, and storytelling from communities of all identities and experiences. By partnering with local institutions and organizations across disciplines, from arts education to social justice, environmental advocacy to cultural heritage, HERstory creates space for accessibility, learning, and meaningful community engagement. Together, we celebrate the past, honor the present, and shape a more inclusive future.

Artist Flat Fee:  $250
*100% of artist sales belong to the artist.  This fee is tax-deductible and helps support two incredible causes*

Selected exhibiting artists will be eligible and expected to participate in the following:
 

  • Survey Monkey Questionnaires
    -developed for exhibiting artists for a pre-event participation baseline and to review event and programming experiences. 
     

  • Marketing Seminar Program 
    -hosted by Marketing professional, uncovering tips & tricks on marketing yourself as an artist including active exercises on how to create proper business cards, portfolios & targeted videos.
     

  • Gallery Seminar Program 
    -hosted by Gallery owner discussing the formal elements of working with a Gallery, how to price artrwork while discovering latest art sales trends. 
     

  • Curated Artist Crit Groups
    -hosted by BFF team leaders, in advance of Event artists will placed in smaller focused crit groups for second opinions, advice and overall support

Terms and Conditions

 Signing this form states you agree and understanding the following:

I understand that I am responsible for my entire set up, including tents, tables, chairs, generators, lighting, and extension cords etc. UNLESS informed otherwise. Payment confirms your space participation. This fee is nonrefundable and nontransferable for any reason. I understand that BFF is not responsible for any lost, stolen and/or damaged items, equipment etc. I am fully responsible for myself, my employees, my customers, equipment merchandise and inventory. Artists keep 100% of their sales. BFF mission is to provide a safe and welcoming space for all artists to flourish and is here to help.

i.ARTIST retains ownership of all work loaned to GALLERY. ARTIST retains copyright to all artwork in perpetuity, as governed by law.

ii. ARTIST will remain responsible for listed works during installation and throughout the exhibition. GALLERY declares that all artwork will be safely and securely maintained during installation and throughout the exhibition. Reasonable efforts will be made to protect artwork from any accidental damage or breakage. Insurance liability for accidental damage or breakage is to provided by ARTIST.


iii. GALLERY agrees to safeguard Work and protect from damage or hazards.

GALLERY may not clean, repair, or alter the Work without prior written consent of ARTIST, except in the case of an emergency and then only to prevent further damage. Notification of any incidents and/or damages must be reported by the GALLERY to ARTIST within a 24-hour period. GALLERY also agrees to adhere to any specific instructions for packing/handling the Work as instructed by ARTIST.

iv. Payment to ARTIST in regards of all sales are to be distributed directly through ARTIST and client with 100% of sales in return to the ARTIST. Artist Flat Fee listed at $250 submitted to GALLERY provides space confirmation. GALLERY to clearly provide contact information for the artists to be given to all patrons if unable to actively participate unless notified to the contrary.

 

v. ARTIST to be responsible for any installation fees. GALLERY to clearly explain installation process and best methods. GALLERY to cover additional costs of handling and installment upon discussion and approval prior only. 

 

NOTE: BFF is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Please check with your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of any donation you might make. BFF's Federal Tax ID# is 88-3548001.
